6 Years in the English Bluebell Woods
The first year started innocently enough. It was 2009 and I was just getting into photography. My first child Amelia was 8 months old. I had been traipsing around Ardingly Reservoir looking for wildlife and landscapes to snap when I came across an amazing patch of wild bluebells in full bloom. I thought it would be nice to bring Amelia back here and take a few snaps. This has since become a yearly habit that I really look forward to!
It is now 2014 and we’ve had 6 sequential photoshoots in the English woodland, searching for the best patches of hidden bluebells! I hope to do this every year until Amelia is 18, and even longer if she lets me! Enjoy watching her grow up in this collage of our bluebell shoots so far!
