Sussex & Surrey Wedding Photography | Anna & Alex at Adlington Hall
Wow…just wow! This is the impression I’ve been left with after editing the wedding photography of Anna Zerbib Berda and Alex McGill. I left my usual Sussex and Surrey haunts and headed up to the outskirts of Manchester at the beautiful Adlington Hall & Gardens. Aside from documenting the whole day, the bride and groom will usually give me about 1 to 2 hours in between the ceremony and reception to capture all the group shots, and creative formals. 9.5 times out of 10 this window of time gets pinched and pulled and squished to the point where I have literally about 15 minutes to get the creative shots.
Not this time! Anna and Alex met me 2 whole hours before the ceremony for a “First Look” meeting. We then had an amazing time taking the creative shots without the rush! I would recommend this to anyone planning their wedding. Yes, it breaks tradition away from the first look being at the ceremony, but it’s totally worth it!
Then another first for me was being a part of a beautiful Jewish wedding ceremony! The rabbi was brilliant, emotions ran high throughout for both the bride and groom and the guests. And one of my favorite parts was that Anna and Alex both entered the ceremony to a harpist playing the theme tune of Game of Thrones! Amazing!
Congratulations to the newlyweds, it was a wedding I will never forget! Enjoy a selection of my favourite photos from throughout the day! And please Get In Touch to inquire about your own family shoot, wedding or event!
